Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
We keep this simple, the same way we keep the show simple: we collect as little as possible, we tell you exactly what we do with it, and we never sell it. Ever.
What we collect
Your email address — only if you subscribe to the morning brief or join a waitlist. That's the whole point of the form you filled out.
Contact messages — if you write to us, we receive your name, email, and message so we can reply.
Basic visit information — like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools record standard technical data (pages visited, browser type, general region). This helps us understand what's working. It doesn't identify you personally to us.
What we do with it
We send you the emails you asked for, and we reply when you write to us. That's it.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works immediately — no hoops.
Services we use
A few trusted services help this site run, and your data passes through them to do their job:
- Mailchimp — stores our email list and sends the morning brief (their privacy policy).
- YouTube — episode videos are hosted on YouTube; when you watch or click through, Google's privacy policy applies.
- Our hosting provider — keeps the site online and maintains standard server logs.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to receive text messages from 647 with Chuck Frank, we use your phone number solely to send you the updates you signed up for (such as new-episode alerts). SMS consent is separate from email consent — you will only receive texts if you explicitly opt in to texting, and you will be asked to confirm your enrollment by text message before any messages are sent.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages (such as our messaging platform, Mailchimp).
Message frequency varies (typically up to 5 messages per week). Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message, and get assistance by replying HELP or contacting us at hello@647withchuckfrank.com.
Cookies
This site uses only the minimal cookies needed to function. Embedded content (like YouTube videos) may set its own cookies, governed by those services' policies.
Your choices
Want off the list? Click unsubscribe in any email. Want your data deleted entirely — messages, email, all of it? Ask, and we'll do it: contact us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. No silent rewrites — that's not how we do things around here.
