Plus: a reported $200 BILLION in hidden PPP fraud, the largest murder-rate drop on record, 20 new deportation deals & Germany's move to control what you're allowed to see — all in today's episode.
A former senior CIA official with top-secret clearance has been arrested in Virginia, and federal agents say what came out of his home defies belief: more than 300 gold bars valued at over $40 million, roughly $2 million in cash, and a collection of 35 luxury watches. According to the FBI affidavit and court filings (reported by The Independent), the gold was requisitioned from the federal government as "work-related expenses" over a span of months. The question Chuck keeps circling back to: how does one man walk that much government gold straight out the door?
That's only the first thread. The SBA Administrator just told a White House Cabinet meeting that $200 billion in fraudulent PPP loans were buried by the previous administration. The White House is touting the largest single-year drop in the murder rate on record. Secretary Rubio confirmed deportation agreements with 20 nations. And across the Atlantic, Germany is moving to let the state decide which "trusted" news your feed is allowed to show you. Chuck reads it all through a Biblical and Constitutional lens, and asks what it means for the famine of truth in our land.
