On Monday, Homeland Security Investigations searched Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's Washington home in a probe tied to her immigration paperwork. On Tuesday, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro went on Fox News and opened a second front, per Fox News and the Daily Caller: her office is investigating Omar's financial disclosures. Those filings showed her husband's businesses, a California winery and a venture capital firm, jumping from almost nothing to as much as $30 million in a single year; she later amended them and blamed accounting errors. Pirro: "We're looking at the facts. Based upon the facts, we'll follow them wherever they take us." And on the search: "That judge would not have signed that warrant unless there was probable cause." Omar calls it political retaliation and has not been charged with anything. Two federal investigations in two days. Chuck reads what is known, as reported by Breitbart News and Fox News.
